The Village Cairns

I don’t usually like hostels in Australia . I believe that they are overvalued. But The Village is different.This place is great! It’s located just in the middle of the city. It’s very clean and quiet. And it is not a party hostel, which for me is an absolute plus. The staff is super friendly. It may be a bit more expensive than other hostels, but I rather pay this extra bucks and enjoy my stay. I will definitely recommend it!

I had an amazing stay! The Village is a great and clean Hostel and everybody who is looking for a relaxed stay in Cairns, is definitely making the right decision. The bathrooms and showers are very clean and the staff is friendly and kind. It’s also in the middle of Cairns and you only need a couple of minutes to walk to the Esplanada or Cairns Central Mall. I will definitely come back when I’m in Cairns again.

I stayed here for three nights. The location is awesome. Nearly all residents are young people. Everyone was very friendly—guests and staff. The place is modern and clean. The bathrooms were a bit gross at times, but nothing that would deter me from staying here again. The room key is on your phone through Bluetooth. I’d prefer a physical keycard, but it did work fine. The deck area is nice. You can rent a towel. There is a communal luggage room and each bed gets a locker. Bring your own lock! The Woolworths is just a few steps away.

Really friendly Staff at this Hostel with helpful and useful Information about Travel and Tours. SHOUT OUT to Michelle she was excellent at advising me about my Trip to Townsville, Magnetic Island 🏝 and back to Cairns! Thanks Michelle! Stay Amazing 👏 ✨️ Areas around the hostel get cleaned around 3 times a day inclusive of bathroom and toilets. Hostel is kept clean and is lovely to move around about in whilst being on the property. Close proximity to grocery stores, bars, clubs, the esplanade, lagoon, and Much More! Usually noise levels stay low after 10pm. Kitchen is good to keep and store food and alcohol in and isn't touched by others I found. As long as you Mark your bags you store your food and alcohol in Nights out with the Hostel Crew are fun! Mon nights, Thurs nights with free food and wine 🍷 and Sunday nights with free food and Wine 🍷 included before going out for a Dance 💃 FUN with games to start the nights off are also included some evenings 👌 ● NEGATIVE to this Hostel is the surcharge I had to pay on top of what I paid per night. I'd rather have it all in one price than have additional charges I had to pay personally
